A two-minute summary of how Little Light keeps your child safe and your family's information private.

What your child will find

• Gentle Bible stories, told faithfully, with no graphic violence. Hard moments are narrated, not shown.
• Calm play with no fail states that shame a child. Children can always keep going.
• Scripture verses from the World English Bible.

What you won't find

• No ads. None, ever, in the game.
• No in-app purchases. You pay once in the store, and that's it.
• No accounts, email sign-up or log-in for children.
• No chat, friend lists or sharing with other players.
• No tracking or analytics. We don't watch how your child plays.

What happens to your child's information

• The game collects no personal information. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
• Progress, the chosen character and Faith Journal entries are saved only on your device. If you type a name, we suggest a nickname.
• The game doesn't use the camera, microphone or location.
• Uninstalling the game deletes everything it saved.

The grown-ups area

Settings, this privacy information and any links that leave the game (such as emailing us) sit behind a simple parental gate, so children don't wander out of the game by accident.

The web app and newsletter

Our companion web app at littlesaltandlight.com shares devotions, verses, videos and audio for families. It uses no cookies, ads or tracking, and your preferences stay in your browser. Our email newsletter is for adults only, and you can unsubscribe with one click. Details are in the web app privacy notice.

If anything changes

If we ever want to add something that would collect information, such as cloud saves or a feature that uses the microphone, we'll update our privacy policy and store listing first, and ask you before it is turned on.
